This was the first time we left our furbaby for an entire week but I know how much Zoe loves staying at April’s so we weren’t worried at all. We got pictures throughout her stay and she had so much fun with the other pups! I love that Zo has a home away from home with April, Dave, Penny, and Eli.

April is the best! Zoe loves sleepovers at her house. We couldn’t ask for a better home away from home.

April couldn’t have been more wonderful to our puppy Kai. April was loving and, patient to our 9 month old puppy. He can be mischievous at times and April always had an eye on him. He loved being there with her two dogs, he became one of the family.
I looked forward to my daily email and photos telling me all about Kais day. It really put my mind at ease. Thank you April!!

Comfy Home on Quiet Cul-De-Sac

We are professionals that reside on a quiet street with our two dogs, Eli a 9 y/o Dachshund and Penny Lane, a 6 y/o Beagle/Rat Terrier mix. Before our dogs came to live with us, we often watched dogs for our friends and family when they had to travel or went on vacation. We hadn't done it in a while when we kept our friends' older Rat Terrier/Chihuahua mix for a ...

What April would like to know about your dog

Please let us know about your usual routines, feeding times, treats, sensitivities and level of socialization. This will help us plan how to best introduce your dog to ours. While we love all dogs, we do find that Penny Lane and Eli get along best with other small to medium sized dogs that have been socialized.

When April watches your pet

We like to let the dogs play together and become familiar with each other. Walking them all into the house together seems to help our visitors understand that they are welcome. We will always ask you what your routine is at home and do our very best to match it.

We have two comfy dog beds and pets are welcome on the sofa. Someone will be at home with them during the day, my Husband works from home, and will not be left alone longer than an hour or two at the most.

The neighborhood is quiet and friendly; set off of the busy main street and perfect for walks.

Our schedules are flexible, but same day requests for Doggy Day care during the week can be difficult to accommodate without notice. We kindly ask that you book 1-2 days in advance whenever possible. We are aware that emergencies arise and we will always do whatever we can to help you, but please understand we cannot guarantee last minute availability.
