Pet care experience
I have a lot of experience with poodles, golden doodles, and Australian Multi-Gen Golden Labradoodles because I work for a wonderful breeder! Tons of experience with young puppies, walking and bathing dogs of all ages, cleaning dog living areas, and caring for senior dogs. I'm also learning about deliveries (including medical experience), 7 week shots, and administrating meds. I'm also an amateur obedience trainer! I have a passion for improving communication between people and dogs. I believe in humane, positive training techniques, which I use with my own young Poodle and my sister's adult Great Dane. It's important to me to engage with dogs in different ways! They are very intelligent and need lots of engagement and stimulation. I love cuddling, scratching, playing games, running together, talking to them, training, providing puzzles, and grooming.

April Jane is awesome, and I can only hope she's willing to walk my pup in the future as well! We booked a walk very last minute when my husband was out of town and I had a long day at work, and she bonded with my pup instantly! Sent pictures along the way and a detailed report afterward - Pepper (my dog) couldn't have asked for a better treat that day. Highly recommend April Jane!
April was wonderful, very caring, genuine and great with my can-be-anxious schnauzer. She sent pictures and updates, which was appreciated. Her puppy Eo and old lady Abby, my dog, were neutral and played with toys well (reportedly). Abby did not show any indications that she did not like April and her stay (in past Abby behaved very poorly to this one poor caregiver). Recommend: YES! Will go back to April.
We loved having April sit Coco(Our Yorkie) for us yesterday. She was available at very short notice and very prompt at setting up the stay for my puppy. She also kept us informed about how Coco was doing with photos and videos through the day. Coco seemed to have a lot of fun playing with April's puppy Eo and we would love to sit Coco with with her in the future. I highly recommend April to other pet parents!

What a typical day looks like for your dog? What motivates your dog? Dogs your dog need constant interaction, or occasion alone time? I currently only host toy and miniature pure bred poodles in my home.

There are several parks for playing in and beautiful neighborhoods to walk through. I have a energetic young dog that loves to play with other dogs! He often tires them out.
