Pet care experience
Hi, we are April & Brynn! Between the two of us we have many years of experience pet sitting for both cats and dogs and are more than happy to adapt to meet your pets needs. Brynn is a 3rd year veterinary student with years of experience working as a veterinary assistant and has previously worked at a dog kennel & cattery as well as many other pet friendly places! April is a healthcare professional & grew up with rescue dogs and because of this has years of experience with dogs who have different behavioural needs. April drives so we are happy to travel to you and your animals when we’re not at work or studying! We know animals are part of the family and will treat your fur babies like they’re our own when in our care!

April and Brynn were incredible with our 1.5 year old cockapoo Bertie. We had a family wedding and had no family available to look after the dog, so got in contact with April and Brynn. Having never left him with someone who isn’t family, we were a little nervous but April and Brynn were so flexible and reassuring, organising a meet and greet with us and Bertie and sat with us to answer all our questions. April was so quick responding to messages too which was so helpful when organising the stay. The girls were so good with Bertie, who can sometimes be a lot to handle and have a lot of energy being a young dog, but nothing fazed them and Bertie loved them. They sent photos and text updates throughout the stay too to let us know how Bertie was and it helped ease our minds. When we got back April and Brynn had gone above and beyond and had stripped the beds and put on some washing which we didn’t expect them to do at all but was nice to come back to. Was really impressed with the service they offer and wouldn’t hesitate to book April and Brynn again. Lovely people with a genuine love for animals and have such a way with animals.
April and Brynn looked after our cat Fergus for a week while we were on holiday and I’d highly recommend them - they sent loads of photos each time they dropped in and let us know how he was doing which put our mind at ease. Thank you both so much!
Can’t recommend higher, looked after our dog as if she was their own. We received pictures and a updates daily, they really cared for our fur baby and could feel at ease being away knowing she was well looked after!
April and Brynn looked after Nero and River, our 2 cat babies wonderfully last week while we were away on holiday. They usually go to a cattery, but, it turned out to be fortunate enough that we couldn't get them booked in this time!! ? The twice daily updates with photos were great and a such a comfort to know that they had their fill of snuggles while we weren't there. They were very responsive and their pre-trip visit was much appreciated. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend them and hopefully we can ask them to look after the 'kids' again in the future. I think Nero would have happily trotted off with them when they popped back in to hand over the house keys, so that's testament to how well they were cared for. ?

A typical day
We like to provide lots of enrichment opportunities for animals in our care with a variety of games and activities alongside their walks! As we have a car we often like to take dogs out into nature to explore on their walks.

Availability
We are currently somewhat busy as one of us is working full time and the other is a full time student. Brynn’s schedule can look different from week to week but is usually home by noon most weekdays while April is usually home by 5:30 most weekdays. This means our weekends are usually flexible and as we have the car it would be easy for us to check in on your animals during the day and take care of their walks, food & give them their much needed attention! We have full availability most weekends and will have availability over summer.
