April is everything I'm looking for in a dog sitter. Responsive, organized, warm and reliable. Two days before Labor Day weekend I reached out to her to see if by chance she was available to take care of our dog, Mowgli, overnight, on the Saturday of Labor Day weekend. I didn't expect her to say yes...I just wanted to meet her for future house sitting needs. But, she texted back within 5 minutes, was ...
April is great, and is our go-to for our two dogs. She is very attentive to the dogs, exercises them well, and leaves our place looking better than we left it. Most importantly, we don’t have to worry about a thing while we are away and April is with the pups.
April did an awesome job taking care of Tucker and Eddie while my fiance and I were out of town over the weekend. She left the place looking great and even put away the clean dishes from the dishwasher! She checked in and sent pictures of the pups daily. One of our dogs recently started having seizures and taking medication for them. April has experience with dogs who have seizures, so she was receptive to ...
So is your dog into Bowie?
**PLEASE READ MY WHOLE PROFILE BEFORE BOOKING ME AS A SITTER**
PET EXPERIENCE: Back in the eighties my parents were not very responsible with spaying our English Springer Spaniel (Pepper) so when she inevitably got pregnant, we just kept all nine puppies so that is where most of my dog care experience comes from. I was also very lucky later in life to have a Shih-Tzu (Tobie) that looked like an Ewok who I felt ...
What April would like to know about your dog
Please communicate with me your care expectations and any activities your dog enjoys, including favorite toys and maybe most importantly, any triggers they might have. I understand that many dogs are adopted and rescued and may be bringing some trauma with them from before they became apart of your family so if there is anything I can do or not do in order to prevent harm to myself or make your dog feel safer and more secure, I would really appreciate to know those things.
This is the day and age of technology but please be aware I do not keep my phone on my person at all times. If you would like me to check in, send pictures, or give you updates each day, please let me know you have these expectations during our meet and greet/before you leave, otherwise I may not do it. I am very much focused on the pets in my care so THEY have my attention, not my phone. I always clean up after myself and will try my best to leave your home as I found it (or cleaner) as well, so that when you come home, it hardly seems like anyone stayed there at all.
