Pet care experience
Hi fellow animal lovers! I’ve been an animal lover my whole life, grew up with cats and dogs. As an adult I’ve fostered dogs with the Toronto humane society for 8 years. My most recent was a foster fail where I adopted an adorable but unfortunately palliative dog. Spent 2 years giving him the best life possible and unfortunately he passed away this past March. I have experience caring for sick dogs- giving medication, assistance with mobility, special diets etc. I love to get outside and take them for walks to enjoy the great outdoors. While I do live in an apartment, my building has a huge yard out back and there is an abundance of trails and green space nearby that I love to explore so your pup will get as much attention, smells and activity as they’d like. Would love to connect and set up a meet and greet!

April was great. She was very understanding about Dorca’s paper eating habit. She tired him out on walks. He was clearly a happy tired puppy when I picked him up.
April is THE most trustworthy, kind, gentle, and knowledgeable dog walker. I have a 5 month old puppy and truly would not trust many people with him. As soon as I met April I knew she was a great fit and felt more than comfortable leaving my puppy with her. April goes above and beyond on walks, always sends me updates and pictures and always makes sure my puppy has a fun and enriching adventure. Couldn’t recommend enough :)
April is by far the best Rover sitter I have experienced. The minute we met her, she exuded confidence, a true passion for dogs, and the calm presence that was a perfect match for my Golden puppy, Stanley. I loved how she kept me posted throughout the day with what Stanley was doing, including how far they walked, and all his bathroom business :) April is amazing, and we will for sure be booking her again and again!
April was so flexible when I needed to drop off and pick up my dogs on a moving day. She clearly took great care of them because they were exhausted for the rest of my evening with them! Would definitely reach out to her again!

Let me know if your dog has any unique needs. I like to know what they’re like on the leash, precious behaviours, preferences or little quirks. Their favourite spots to go and what they’re like when interacting with other dogs, whether that’s passing them on the sidewalk or seeing them across the park. I love all the details you’d like to share!
A typical day
I love to check out Winston Churchill park as well as the cedarvale ravine. Lots of trees and scenery to look at for me and smell for the pups! I like to make sure they get fresh air and activity or if they’re more chill, even just sitting in the park and soaking it all in!
