For as long as I've known April, she's always had an unmatched love for animals. She grew up with animals in the house at all times and is a responsible and caring pet owner herself. One of my favorite memories together is actually when we found a dog wandering around her sister's neighborhood without a collar and we went door-to-door looking to see if she belonged to anyone near by. After a night of door knocking, and after weeks of putting up 'found dog' signs throughout the city the dog found her forever home with April and her parents in the end. Whenever my family and I go out out town she's the first person I call to hang out with, walk, and feed the animals in our absence.
