I've been a dog mom for most of my life. Neighbors, friends, and family consistently ask me to watch over their fur babies because they know their furry family members will be loved, well taken care of, and safe.

It was my first time using Rover and I found April not too far from my location. I reached out, she was very responsive, and we did a meet and greet to make sure it was a good fit. Throughout my trip, she sent me updates and photos which definitely put me at ease. April has a lovely home with a spacious backyard and my dog passed out when I brought her home. I definitely recommend April and will be reaching out to her for future trips where I need to leave my dog behind.
April was AMAZING! Our dog was well-loved and cared for and April was great at communicating and flexible when our travel plans were delayed a bit. She was one of the best sitters we've used on Rover so far and we felt very happy leaving our dog with her. She was even great with my kids who just had to come with me to say goodbye to our dog when we dropped her off. ?We will definitely book with April again!

April is wonderful! Highly recommended! She gave Charlie loving care and communicated with me frequently, including photos. Her yard is fully fenced and very large and beautiful. Her pup, Bella is sweet and played with my dog, Charlie. ❤️

I have a 3-year-old female beagle who loves to play and nap, and is welcoming to every friend she's ever met. I live in a home where animals can play and make themselves comfortable - no piece of furniture is off limits, unless you want it to be. I'll gladly keep reinforcing the habits you enforce at your own home. I have a giant backyard that is fully fenced, complete with mature trees and squirrels to chase. There is plenty of room to explore, sniff, play fetch, and chase. It's a doggy dream!

Please let me know if your dog has any special needs, as I'd love to assess if I am the best person to accommodate them. Please also let me know how your dog does with other dogs; if they resource guard, if they've ever had a fight/attacked another dog, etc. Please also let me know how they act around cats. I do not have a cat, but there is a kitty that sometimes finds herself in my backyard.
A typical day
I live on the mountain side and love to take walks around the streets and nearby trails. My backyard is also a mini forest and is a great place to play fetch, chase, and run around for some good fun.

I work full-time from home and have plenty of time to let your furry friend outside to potty and play. My schedule allows me to provide nearly constant care. NOTE: I offer day care for up to 9 hours at my posted rate. Beyond 9 hours, the rate will be 1.3x what is posted (e.g. 9am to 9pm would be $45.50 for the day, based on a day care rate of $35 per day).
