I ask that safety measures are discussed and in place to ensure my safety and pet’s safety. Questions: -Are they friendly to dogs and people? -Are they reactive during walks? -Do they have dietary restrictions and/or medical concerns to look out for? -Are there certain types of dogs that they dislike, any dogs in the area to avoid? -Any triggers?

Each visit is very different! Here’s what I like to do according to the pups’ needs! HIGH-ENERGY PUPS If they are playful and have a secure play area I love to give them some time before a walk to get them excited! This also helps with combo walks by getting that feisty energy out before embarking on the journey. However, if walking is preferred or there is not a space available I will keep up with the pace that is best for the pup! Most high-energy pups thrive on combo walks, so if the opportunity arises I like to pair them up. I of course always ensure they are friendly and discuss pairing with the owner. Combo walks allow them to feed off one another's energy and really spark curiosity! For the high-energy pups that aren’t so playful a good hike or walk is always a great choice for energy-burning! NON-DOG FRIENDLY PUPS I love to take them to areas nearby where dogs are sparce and leashed. This allows for a very calm walk where I can focus my attention on the pup rather than avoiding dogs. Of course that is not always and option, but I will actively avoid triggers as they approach. If safe to do so I will cross the street before dogs approach or pull off to the side with a safe distance so the other dog walking may pass. I keep reactive pups close to me with a strong grip. SENIORS, DISABLED, & LOW ENERGY PUPS Occasionally these pups get tired before times up so I love to hang out with them and them some extra love! I will also take seniors on a walking pace that makes them happy. I will sit and/or talk with them wherever they are comfiest and give them treats (if they are allowed). Some senior pups I've watched have enjoyed sitting outside with me on nice days and some still love to walk! Let me know what is best for your senior buddy! CATS Cats vary drastically so care is based on owner requests. I will spend time with or around them; talking, petting, playing, whatever helps meet their social needs! I will change litter boxes, clean food & water bowls, sweep around boxes, brush, and of course play with them! All care is catered towards the individual pets and I find getting to know them and paying attention to what makes them happy works best! Treats, toys, nature and affection are all tools I use to assist in ensuring animals have the best adventure!
