Hello! I'm April and I'm a recent graduate. While searching for a full time job, I decided to dog-sit to keep busy and fill my time with awesome pups. My 5yo miniature pinscher, Izzy, behaves well with other dogs-- he enjoys butt sniffs and keeps to himself afterwards. I have experience dog-sitting since I was in high school with dogs as little as yorkies and as big as pit bulls. I'm passionate of providing you great care for your beloved pets while you're away. I don't shy away from any detailed instructions that you may leave for me. I'm fully committed to updating you on your pup(s) with photos & videos. I try my best to take photogenic photos as a former arts student with a background in photography. You can rest assured that you'll never receive a blurry, weirdly cropped photo of your pup(s) from me. I do a lot of cooking, so I'm happy to cook dog-safe meals and treats for them too (with your permission). Also, grooming your pets, whether that's brushing their fur or giving them a sudsy bath isn't a issue, if requested. April is one of the best people I can recommend when it comes to watching pets. I have a miniature pinscher that I have had for over 5 years now. I have met April around 3 years ago and it seems like he likes her more than he likes me at times. He is always happy to see her, and he trusts no one else but her and me of course. I can say that if I had, for some unfortunate reason, had to give my best friend away I know he would be in good hands with her. I cannot recommend anyone better to watch your pets than April.

For everyone's safety & well being, please let me know of any allergies, medicines taken, dislikes/likes, etc., that your dog(s) may have. I can also cater to your dogs, so please let me know their dietary needs or their favorite treats. I love supplementing my dog's (Izzy) kibbles with scrambled eggs, fruits, veggies, bits of meat, or chicken broth, every once in a while. If you think your dog(s) would enjoy that too, I'm more than happy to add some extra goodies to their meals. In general, I gravitate towards small dogs, but all sizes matter ;--)
A typical day
I live in Hollins Market, so this area is safe for walking without worrying about crossing busy roads with cars. It is also quiet for certain dogs that might be anxious around busy streets with people. I'm right by the Inner Harbor, so we can do walks there and I enjoy visiting the dog park at Patterson Park too! I can also easily stay in with dogs that are more 'homebody' (senior, disabled/special needs) and get them comfy in a blanket nest next to me while we both relax with some Netflix streaming.
