Pet care experience
I have been dog walking and house sitting through Rover for 3 years. I started out when I was in between jobs and have continued since. I now work remotely for a education technology company. I also have a pup - an energetic 9 month old mini aussiedoodle named Watson. I would love to either walk or provide boarding for your dog! For dog boarding, I like to take dogs on long walks around the Queen Anne neighborhood or down to the waterfront. If your dog is comfortable with car rides, then we can go to parks nearby or on hikes. My dog is crate trained and I prefer crate trained dogs for boarding as well. However just let me know what your dog is comfortable with and what his daily schedule looks like!

Apoorva took great care of our puppy! She was very thorough preparing for our first daycare visit and made sure to update us throughout the day on how everything was going. She gave him plenty of exercise and even helped continue some of our training that we were working on! Our puppy left tired and happy. He barely wanted to leave at the end of it because he had so much fun with Apoorva and her dog.
Apoorva took great care of Scout and sent tons of cute pics. And having another dog for Scout to play with was an added bonus. I would definitely recommend Apoorva as a sitter and hope to be able to hire her again.
Apporva was awesome. Her communication was responsive and thorough and it was obvious my cats were in kitty heaven with her. I felt relieved they let me back in the house! I'd highly recommend.

I have crate trained my dog and he sleeps in his crate at night and naps in there for short intervals throughout the day. I also have a dog gate in my home in case any visiting dog needs to be separated or needs time away from my dog. I do also have a dog camera in my apartment if I am leaving any dog alone at home so I can monitor as needed.

A typical day
A typical day includes long walks in the morning and evening. If your dog is comfortable with car rides, I like to take my dog on hikes, to new parks or walking paths, and to dog parks. I’m working various behavior training with my puppy and would love to include that for your dog as well.

Availability
On weekdays I typically take my dog on long walks in the morning before I start working and in the evening around 5pm. I also typically go on a short walk around lunch time, but can also accommodate more frequent potty breaks if needed. On weekends I like to take my dog on longer walks, outdoor training sessions, hikes, or dog parks.
