I’ve never used a pet sitter, or dog walker before. The ordeal of finding suitable care and an individual I trusted, but more importantly my dog trusted was a daunting one. Shot her text, and she promptly responded (I really appreciated that). We planned a date for us three to meet in the park. It was amazing; all fear seemed to have melted away. My dog immediately took to her; I must admit I did feel a bit of jealously how so quickly and intimately they hit it off. Aphia was the one - She was a gift. Aphia has been a fantastic caretaker for my pup on several occasions, for both short and extended overnight stays. She's playful and an animal lover, while remaining thoughtful, present, and disciplined when taking care of him. She has the awareness to adapt the routine to balance his mood, energy level, etc, and It's comforting to know that I can expect regular updates and photos during the stay. He's always happy to hang with her, and I know can enjoy myself worry-free while I'm away. She also has a clean, safe, dog-friendly apartment that is easily accessible. Highly recommended!
