Pet care experience
I’ve taken care of our family dog (husky) since I was about 8 years old. I have also dog sat for several of my family friends and individuals on alternate websites such as this one. I adopted my first dog, Kona, last year and have enjoyed learning more about enrichment, training and caring for her.

She understands the connections folks have with their pets. She would be a great choice for anyone if they want their pets safe and well cared for while they are away or just need to be walked
Anya is the most caring pet owner! She provides her own dog with love and kindness and it is obvious that her dog loves her right back! She will love your pet just like her own and treat them with the greatest of care! You couldn’t ask for a better caregiver!

I live in a two bedroom house. I have an unfenced yard but, I have a long 100 ft lead that I use to play fetch with my dog. I love to exercise and go on runs when I can. I live next to a few different parks in the neighborhood along with access to Lake Carmel.

Please let me know if your dog needs to meet me before we agree to a walk or overnight. I will make time to make sure that I am meeting your dog's needs. Please express any concerns or specific directions I will need to follow. As a pet parent myself, I understand the quirks a dog can have when meeting someone new.
A typical day
I love to exercise a dog's mind and body. I think it is very important to involve sniffing on walks, to stimulate their brains while moving their bodies. I enjoy taking my dog to new places such as a rail trail or down by the lake. My dog loves to fetch and play time (Duh!) so I would like to incorporate that into our time together as well.

Availability
I’m currently working full-time as an elementary school teacher. My availability is on weekday afternoons (after 4:00pm), Saturday and Sunday all day. I do have a dog of my own and understand how important it is to exercise/care for a dog so I am looking to help out other pet parents!
