Pet care experience
I grew up in the mountains with many pets including dogs of all sizes, cats, a little pig named Rosie, snakes, fish, and parakeets. I am a true animal person and see all animals as deserving of the patience, affection, and care we give to other family members. Additionally, I have two dogs of my own; Lemmy and Thorli - two exceptionally cute and active corgis. They are both high energy, playful, and demanding of my attention...and I wouldn't change a thing! I also have generous experience caring for older dogs in need of extra special care, as my lab mix passed away last year after a wonderful fourteen years together. Additionally, I have previous experience as a nanny and am very used to keeping track of and maintaining household duties and schedules. I look forward to showering your fluffy loved ones and household with the same respect, attention, and loving care as I do upon my own!

Anya was amazing. This was my first time using Rover and I was a littler nervous due to my dog having certain behavioral issues. Anya was great about everything, asked all the right question so she knew exactly our to care for my dog, and was very reassuring when I was out of town. I received tons of pictures and videos, along with updates on what they were doing and how my dog was doing. When we got back from our trip our house was very clean and looked like no one had lived in it when we were gone. Anya cleaned our sheets and remade our bed and did all dishes and towels for us. It’s needless to say that our expectations for exceeded. 10/10 recommend Anya to pet sit for you, you will not be disappointed.
Anya was wonderful to work with, an absolute delight. She took good care of our cat Willy Wonka and sent us great photos. I will definitely book her again!

In my home, pets are treated as family members with daily walks at least a mile in length, endless affection and snuggles, play time, and other stimulating activities such as water play in the little pool I purchased for them. It is highly important to me that they are safe and secure at all times. I believe in positive reinforcement and building obedience through trust and connection, not yelling. I will not agree to the use of shock collars or physical discipline of any kind. I am highly attentive to any medical needs that may be present and care deeply about providing great nutrition and hydration at all times. My most important goal as a caregiver for your loved ones is to treat them as I treat my own and give you the peace of mind to know that your pet is great hands!

A typical day
Beyond the essentials of care, I believe that caring for pet's needs for affection and play are just as important. I enjoy going for nature walks, quick adventures around the neighborhood, and playing ball at the park. Each pet is unique in needs and personality, and I enjoy learning how to make our time spent together the best it can be for them!

Availability
I am currently taking the summer off from school, so my schedule is very open and flexible. Though I do have two trips planned this summer, I will be blocking those dates out of my schedule well in advance. With my current flexibility, I am able to offer a wide range of service times at your convenience.
