I have always had cats and dogs growing up and LOVE animals. I have a dog of my own (German Shepard Mix) named Juice. It is fun for him to have other dogs around. He is 4 years old and pretty calm.There is a dog park close by, so we try to go there at least several times a week. Even more if it's nice out. I also like getting out and walking a lot, so I usually bring him with me so he can get extra steps in :) I have thought about getting another pet so my dog can have a friend around, but I think having one stay with us short term is the best option for now. I try to be available most weekends, but sometimes have to change it due to last minute work travel.
