Neighborhood’s dogs favorite person
Pet care experience
I have taken care of many dogs for the past 5 years, prior to me owning a dog. Many of my friends have counted on me to take care of their dogs while they are out of town. I have gone to people’s houses (they would trust giving me their door codes), I have driven to another town to walk, feed, and play with friends’ dogs, I have taken friends’ dogs over night (sometimes for 2 or 3 nights.) I have a Golden Retriever named Luke.

I have a very friendly Golden Retriever. We go for 3 walks a day, each walk lasting for at least 30 minutes. If it’s too hot outside, I do not expose my dog to the heat and would have two walks, one early in the morning and one later in the day. I regularly take him to the beach, where he mainly swims as he loves the water.

I believe the most important things to know ahead of time is to know if the dog has any special needs. For example, if the dog needs special kind of food, a special kind of elevated bowl, or if the dog is anxious and fearful. Another thing I would ask the owner would be about the rest of the neighborhood’s dogs. I would like to have the address and the number of the dog’s vet.
A typical day
I love playing hide and seek with my dog where I hide a treat and wait for him to find it. As soon as he finds it, I have thought him to sit and wait until I give him the treat.

I currently work full time as a Legal assistant so I am only available on the weekends. If my availability changes, I will update accordingly on Rover.
