I have a 2 year old daughter with autism. She is the highlight of my life. I spent 6 years in the Texas Army National Guard, and i'm a funny, animal loving guy. I live on 5 acres of land with 8 dogs, 2 cats, 2 goats, a donkey, and 5 ducks. I have a fenced in yard but the is plenty of space for the animals to roam. We don't limit our dogs, stop they're allowed on furniture and whatnot. If you don't allow that, I understand and will respect that.
