I've cared for my own pets since childhood. I grew up around two cats, Salt and Pepper - my mom's cats - and at age 5, my parents let me adopt my first pet, Bingo, a stray English Setter. Professionally, I began pet sitting in 2015 for a couple in Haymount with a lovable Aussie, Spur, Miles the cat, and a tankful of fish. I immediately joined DogVacay (now merged with Rover) and have since loved every day of it: meeting wonderful people in my community who are looking for a more personal approach to the care of their pets. I currently have about 20 clients spread out in Cumberland County from Eastover to Hope Mills to Haymount/Vanstory to Ft. Bragg. For my day job, I am the admin at Kohl's in Fayetteville, where I handle human resources and volunteer coordination. My office hours afford me great flexibility for pet sitting and dog walking. Weekdays, I'm home by 2:15p, and am available 24/7 on most weekends and holidays. Whether boarding at my house or sitting in your home, your pets are always allowed to do what you allow them to do. I will definitely spoil them with cuddles and playtime. At my house, I have a small fenced-in backyard for quick potty breaks, and for both boarding and sitting, I take 3-4 15 minute walks a day.
