I believe that there’s nothing better than having the love of a dog in our lives! They’re always there for us unconditionally and ready to pick us up when we’re feeling down. They’re so giving, and it’s that selfless spirit that inspired me to become a dog sitter. Dogs deserve all the love and care they need to thrive in the world, and I’m here to give that to them! It’s great to put a smile on their face and give back to my community by providing owners with peace of mind all at once. I’ve been a lifelong dog lover, but also have tons of experience taking care of dogs in a professional manner as well. I used to have my own pets until two years ago when I moved to Hollywood and could no longer have a pet in my new apartment. I believe that only makes Rover a better fit for me because I can’t wait to get any dog time in that I can! I also have professional experience house sitting dogs and cats as well as experience just doing drop ins and walks. I’ve learned a lot about providing unique and individualized care to pups in that time, and I’m always excited to take on new canine clients and learn more about what makes them happiest! When taking on a new client, I typically like to schedule a meet-and-greet. It’s a great way to make sure that we’re all a good fit for one another, which is so important to me. Likewise, it gives us the opportunity to chat face-to-face about your pup and your care expectations. No one knows your dog better than you do, so it’s always great to chat with owners in person about what makes their pup tick! Finally, I just love meeting new dogs! I like to get down on their level to show them that I’m a welcome presence here to make friends, and I’m sure we’ll be best buddies in no time at all. I have been in customer service for over 10 years, and I bring all of my experience to bear on every pooch that’s under my care. I live by the golden rule, which is that I’ll always treat your dog with the same kind of care as if they were my own. But that doesn’t exclude a little spoiling on the side! I also believe that the pillar of a good stay is excellent communication. I like to start by getting as much information as possible before we meet, so I can get a good idea of your care expectations and what makes your pup tick. During the stay, I love sending regular updates with accompanying pictures, so you can see just how much fun your pup and I are having together! I’m also happy to include any information you need on your pup’s behaviors, meals, exercise times, etc., so you know that you’re fully kept up to speed. And of course, I’m always easy to get in contact with, so never hesitate to reach out!
