I have had dogs my entire life and treat them like family. I watch dogs for friends and family and my dog, Rookie, loves to have friends over to play with.

Nova loves hanging out with Rookie for the day. She definitely comes home tired which is great.

I have a completely fenced back yard with plenty of room to run around for both your pup and mine. My dog is crate trained, but also is free to sleep where he plops some times, but he typically puts himself into his crate for bed time. We typically leave the back door open if the weather allows, so he can sun bathe or play outside when he chooses, but he is also fine with the door closed and knows how to ask us to go outside when needed.

Please let me know ahead of time if your dog requires any oral medication, a special feeding schedule, needs to be separated from my dog while eating, or any other special circumstances and we can figure out what is best for you and your pup.
A typical day
We go on daily walks either around the neighborhood, or to our local park which is about an 8 minute walk to get to. My dog loves to hike, and we occasionally go to Peña Adobe for both the hiking trail, and the dog park. Rookie is obsessed with fetch, although he is a ball hog

My girlfriend and I have a beautiful Blue Heeler (Australian Cattle Dog) named Rookie. We both currently work from home so Rookie always has at least one of us available to give him attention, let him outside, go for walks during our breaks, or even cuddle him when he’s feeling lazy.
