I'm a responsible professional who has shared my home with dogs my whole life from multiple Chihuahuas growing up to some decent middle sized dogs including a Husky, a Chow, and currently, a Norwegian Elkhound who is in the home. I think of pets as family and train minimally teaching basic commands. Beyond that, I allow my dogs to express themselves and become who they are meant to be. I'm happy to share couch space and also enjoy the 50+ pound dogs that think they're lap dogs. My current dog jumps in bed at night for a 15 minute nap, then jumps down to the floor for the rest of the night sleeping and waiting for breakfast. In the home, there are 2 other people that are happy to provide some additional TLC. The Elkhound thinks everyone wants to play and be friends. There are two cats - One is playful and will approach dogs and lie down with them, and the other is a bit older and tends to run to a gated off floor for 'me' time. There's a non fenced back yard and breaks and walks are done on leash and there is a nearby park. All animals have flea & tick and heartworm preventatives and all vaccines. I'm happy to provide baths at no charge if anyone gets excessively dirty from outdoor play. Cat services: I'm happy to do in home visits for feeding, fresh water, cleaning the box, and to encourage play. Availability: Currently working from home all days except one, and can provide lunchtime break during that day. Drop off and pick up times during the weekdays are 6-8 AM and 4-10 PM unless other arrangements are made. Weekends drop off and pick up times flexible. Work and hobbies: In case you're wondering, I work in behavioral health helping those with two legs and I also enjoy music, camping, trying and making different foods, and continuing to learn about health and nutrition.
