Any opportunity to meet/care for/play with a new dog is one that I'm excited and thankful for, making Rover an ideal situation for me. Throughout my entire life, there has probably been a month total that I have not had a dog as a member of my family. At this point, it isn't a question of whether or not I want a dog, but rather how many dogs can I fit under my current roof. And the easiest way to grow that number is by getting into dog sitting! My wife and I are willing and wanting to look after your dog as if they are our own. We have jumped through hoops in the past to have our dogs cared for, and that is exactly what we want to prevent you from having to go through. Whatever we can do to make you and your 4-legged friend as comfortable as possible is what we will do. I work in personal training, but I do it independently so I set my own schedule, allowing for a wide range of flexibility with pet care. We also have no kids, so if I need to do numerous drop ins in a day, or stay the night, I have the flexibility to do that as well. And with a jeep that’s already covered in my own dogs fur, it’s easy for me to transport dogs to a dog park or vet if the need arises. Unfortunately both of my dogs are currently fighting cancer, but it has given me more practice than I’d prefer in administering medication and doing post op care. So if your four legged friend has some special needs, I’m not afraid to take on the job. Boiling everything down, I know how much your dog means to you, because I feel the same way about mine. So I would be both honored and excited with the responsibility of forging a relationship with your dog like it was just that, one of mine.
