Pet care experience
Hi, I'm Tony. GVSU grad and lifelong animal lover and owner. I grew up on a farm in Wayland, MI with a plethora of animal companions my entire life, but dogs are where my heart is. My childhood home was nicknamed the animal rescue due to my mothers love and care for wayward animals. I have seen and worked through all stages of animal welfare due to my upbringing. I understand the urgency needed to address abnormal behavior and have zero issues accommodating tailored medication regiments or personalized routines. I will do what works best to reduce stress for your pet in your absence. I have worked with many puppies during potty training and understand how consistent it needs to be. Please feel free to contact me to learn more or to see if I can accommodate your fur baby's needs.
Reviews
I can speak for our two dogs when I say we are sad that Anthony is leaving Grand Rapids. We know its for better things. Hopefully he will continue to walk. He is an amazing careperson.
Tony is a big animal lover, who especially loves dogs. When his dog (Thor) was a rambunctious puppy, Tony had a very senior, geriatric dog (Stewie-RIP). I was super impressed with the way he handled two vastly different temperaments and personalities. Puppies are obviously full of chaotic, fun, and stress inducing energy, and senior dogs require more patience and care. Tony would switch between the two with ease, giving each dog the love and attention they needed.
Tony is fantastic with all animals, especially dogs. He has a way of knowing a dogs personality with only being with them a short time. He has had his own dogs for as long as I’ve known him. His breeds are difficult and he handles them well and they listen. Tony has dog sat for me in the past and Diesel listens better to him than me! I would highly recommend Tony for Rover services. Not only for his capabilities and how great he is with dogs but because Tony has great integrity as a person and will always do the right thing for the dog and their owners.
Anthony is freaking awesome when it comes to animals. Super with getting to know the animals and making them feel comfortable. He is caring, and super dependable, fur babies just love him.

Information Anthony B. would like to know about your pet
While I am not taking any clients for overnight sitting at this I would like to offer this service in the future. Pitt Bulls often get over looked by society and honestly would be my first preference. I love them. I have two English Bull Terriers and would need to know if a client's fur baby would be able to be in a home with other animals. How are they with other pets? Would they need to be separated from other pets? How would you rank your pets socialization with other animals? Do they need special food or medicine? Do they have a routine? If possible is there an item that your pet could sleep with that carries a comforting scent?
A typical day
I will walk all fur clients in an area around their domicile. If this can not be accommodated I would be willing to take them to a preferred area for walking or playtime. I am accustomed to high energy and larger breed dogs and love playing with them. Snow walking for our fuzzy Husky friends, where they have the chance to play in the snow like they love. Playing fetch with a ball or frisbee pending on proper safety and location of course. Walking will have proper hydration as well as a treat if any as approved by owner.
