I have taken care of senior dogs (friend and girlfriend) over the past 4 years, and have general family dogs over the past 30 years. Friends and girlfriends have relied on me to feed, walk, and keep their dogs company.

A typical day
For the larger, more active dogs like Huskies, I like going to certain open area parks where there is grass and run with them by my side on leash. The favorite toy is always good for smaller dogs inside, and depending on the dog, the tug of war type of thing which appeals to most dogs, especially terriers, etc.

Availability
I work from home, and my schedule is flexible, allowing me to be available at all hours for others who have dogs. I do not currently have a dog myself because I have been traveling and in the last few years my girlfriend has had a dog so he took the place of having one for myself.
