Great with geriatric pets!
Pet care experience
I've grown up having pets my whole life and currently have 2 older cats and a Chiweenie at home. My previous experiences as both a cat parent and volunteer include: -Comfort giving medicine in various forms including insulin injections -Fostering motherless kittens until they make weight for shots/spay -Volunteering for an organization that provides assistance to elderly and incapacitated clients in caring for their pets (walking dogs, litter boxes, light cleaning, feeding) I've had special needs cats as well that required extensive directions for care and I understand the potential stress of leaving said pets at home. I take great care in ensuring your pets are well taken care of while you are away. Happy to send pictures and updates too!

Ant is one of the kindest people I know. I met him through PAWS when he started walking Niner, my 13 yr. old Shi Tzu rescue. Over the years I've gotten to know Ant quite well. He was always reliable and patient. He would take Niner on long, healthy walks. Sometimes he would treat Niner with a fun play session with his dog Penny. They loved each other and enjoyed the various adventures Ant would take them on. Ant was in tune with Niner. He would notice if there was a change in his energy level or with his general health and would always inform me of any changes that he observed. Ant walked Niner through Niner's later years (Niner lived to be 19). I always knew that my little guy was safe with Ant (he would never let Niner eat anything off the ground etc.) Anyone letting Ant into their life will be happy they did. He is the Best!!

Activities and walks are dependent on the age and energy level of the animal. The majority of my experience has been caring for geriatric cats and dogs. I understand the wide range of energy levels and physical abilities in pets and will therefore default to activities specific to each animal.

My schedule is very flexible. I own and operate a small business and am able to balance daily work with additional pet care requests. I'm available for most scheduling requests.
