I’ve had many different Rover pet sitters over the years and they have all been extremely helpful, went above and beyond. Got the mail, watered plants, took the garbage out. I always left a tip. I asked Annusa to take the recycling down to the street while we were out of town, she wouldn’t do it as it isn’t specifically related to the dog care. I wish she had told me that on the day that I asked, I would have asked a friend or neighbor, if I had been given enough notice. While it’s accurate that taking down the trash can to the street isn’t directly a dog related task, I don’t tip for doing the bare minimum. I paid for the minimum, tips are for above and beyond. I came home to 3 piles of dry dog vomit on our rug.

I work from home and have a pretty flexible work schedule & already partake in an active lifestyle with my puppy. I am willing to work with last-minute clients, while I am pretty flexible; still, I would appreciate some time to plan if possible.
