I’m a vet technician, and I also work as a Humane Officer to rescue animals from harmful environments. I know everything there is to know about providing great care to all kind of animals, and my background and experience have uniquely prepared me to be a devoted and trustworthy sitter. Animal wellbeing and comfort are paramount to me. I’ve loved animals since I was a small child. I was raised around them, and learned to respect and care for our furry (or not-so-furry) friends. I’ve worked with dogs of all types and all personalities: shy, friendly, outgoing, laid-back, or playful, I love all dogs and getting to know what makes each unique and unforgettable. When we first meet, I go slowly and pay close attention to body language and eyes to gain a dog’s trust and learn her preferences. My extensive training means that I can provide a completely safe environment for your pets. All of my expertise will be dedicated to making sure your pet stays happy and healthy. I take no shortcuts when it comes to keeping hazards at bay, whether that means puppy-proofing a home, training a pet in bite inhibition, or making sure there are no escape routes. I’ve also spent years volunteering in shelters, so I have handled every difficult situation at least a dozen times. You can feel completely comfortable when your pet is with me. As a vet tech, I have also worked with many other animals. I’m an expert with exotic pets, livestock, and wildlife.
