Hi, my name is Annika and I recently moved to Lancaster for a RN position at LGH! (Note: I am fully vaccinated with Pfizer) I have experience caring for all types of animals, including: cats, dogs, small animals, farm animals, and reptiles. I have seven years volunteering (2010 - 2017) at an animal shelter in my home state of Virginia, and many years pet sitting for regular clients. I can administer medications, fluids, and have worked with senior pets many times. I would be happy to also bring in the mail/newspaper and water plants as needed. I myself have a <1 year old rescue tabby cat at home, and I have even owned fire bellied toads in the past! I can make up to three visits per day to your home: price per visit depending on number of pets and length of visit (for example, an extended dog walk)

We love having Annika check in on our cats! I know she is great with them because even our grouchy cat wants to hang out with her!! She’s very reliable!
Annika is did a great job taking care of Phoebe our cat. Phoebe isn’t the most friendly cat. Annika was wonderful with her. She has to administer antibiotics, which isn’t easy to do with a cat. We received photos of a very happy Phoebe while we were gone. We would highly recommend Annika!
Annika was so helpful, keeping us up to date on the cats during our trip. Love the pictures and the info about the house while we were gone!
Annika did a great job taking care of my boys! I came home to two happy cats! I highly recommend her!!

Having worked at an animal shelter for many years, I am comfortable working with pets of various sizes and temperaments, but every dog is an individual! All of my animals have been rescued, so I understand the unique requirements for weary and timid pets.
A typical day
With me, your furry family member will receive lots of cuddles and/or play time, whatever your pet is in the mood for! I will keep to their normal routine and follow their favorite walking route that you specify :)

I have a rambunctious, recently adopted tabby, who was found as a stray on the mean streets of Philadelphia. I spend lots of time playing and cuddling with her, and learning her quirks and personality!
