Pet care experience
I’ve taken care of dogs / cats / horses since I was young, starting out pet sitting for my neighbors and taking their dogs for walks. I am comfortable taking care of senior dogs, and have experience working with puppies. I currently have a 7 year old shepherd mix and a 14 month old Beauceron puppy so I am familiar with higher drive working breeds. I am comfortable with friendly to dog neutral dogs. If you have a reactive dog, please disclose that ahead of time so that I can see if it would be an appropriate match for my personal ability levels.

I have a fenced in yard, two friendly dogs, and several methods of containment. We have a big Impact Crate, a big Gunner crate, and an x-pen if you have puppies that aren’t trustworthy yet. We also have a fully fenced in field near my house for off leash zoomies. My dogs free roam but are crated when no one is home.

A typical day
I am a big proponent of mental enrichment. We do structured walks, sniffaris, puzzles, training sessions, and free play sessions. I like to take my dogs to a local park, walk down to the waterfront, and walk around the downtown area so they are exposed to plenty of stimuli.
