Pet care experience
I have experience with a family dog for over 14 years. We have two adorable dogs- a 5 year old miniature poodle and a 2 year old miniature golden doodle puppy. Excellent pet care is one of my many passions. We built our first home together here in cottage grove and have been loving home ownership. I work as a dental hygienist during the week and love it! I am excited to get to be able to check in on your animals, taking them for nice walks, and take care of them overnight! Communication is very important to me so I will try to be quick in connecting with you. If you have any questions or concerns feel free to get in contact with me! Note: currently my cousin is renting out our basement bedroom with his dog. She is a 7 year old Boston terrier who usually minds her own business and stays downstairs. I am working 4 days a week and make sure dogs are my top priority during the week and weekends. We love to go to local dog parks on my days off. We have a fenced in back yard along with a doggy door for easy access to the outdoors. Our two dogs love to play fetch and relax outside.

Annika and her husband watched our dog Gilbert for 2 nights. This was our first time using Rover and leaving our dog with someone other than family and he couldn’t have been in better hands! We were updated with pictures, video and messages which helped reassure us and also got to see all the fun Gilbert was having playing with her dogs! I would definitely recommend Annika if you are looking for a pet sitter who is reliable and good with dogs.

I treat my clients pets like the are my own. I make sure all their basic needs are met, along with going out of the way to make sure they are smelling good by giving them a bath if needed, will take them with to the lake in the summer if you feel comfortable with that, and take them on nice walks!

I normally will take care of dogs on my days off Friday-Sunday. Occasionally I will sit dogs for a week at a time if a family needs me too.
