Pet care experience
I've been employed as a dog walker/handler/sitter/boarder for five years now, in my Maryland hometown, right outside Washington, DC. I moved to Boston, graduated college, and want to continue caring for dogs! I started my full-time job in July, but would love to walk Boston and dog-sit/board if you're out of town on the weekends. I can do feedings and other basic needs like refreshing water or wiping down paws on a rainy day.

Annie was able to dog sit on short notice and was great with my greyhound mix pup! She sent me regular updates and photos, and stayed with Bucky well after she had to so he wouldn’t be left alone for too long. Looking forward to having her hang out with Bucky in the near future!

Annie is the BEST! She is super kind, friendly, and responsible, sending lots of pictures and updates of my dog having an awesome time with her. She is also very flexible and responsive. Would absolutely recommend her for any dog that needs a home away from home!
Annie was great! We needed someone to take our lab out while we were at a wedding. She was prompt, easy to communicate with, and our dog seemed happy and content upon our return. Thanks Annie!

I understand and respect the boundaries set forward by owners, depending on their comfortability (method of communication, in-person interactions, etc). For simple walks, I am comfortable getting instructions to enter the client's home and leash the dog to leave for a walk, and return after the expected walk-time. For any dog-sitting/boarding, please communicate the details of the expected visit (where to be in the home, expectations from me and the pet, etc). I'm unfortunately allergic to cats and likely won't dog-sit in a home with cats.

A typical day
I'm always walking up and down the Back Bay neighborhood, along the Charles and up toward the Museum of Science. It's so great to bond with new dogs, go to their favorite places, play with their fav toys, and end the day relaxing on the couch.

Availability
Available outside of regular M-F 9-5 work hours. Can be available Friday evenings for walks or weekend stays. Typically run on weekends if your dog is a fan of running along the Charles :)
