Hi there, I love animals, and would love to work with you and your pet(s). I've had dogs my entire life, and help take care of my mom’s dog at her home regularly in Beaverton, OR. I worked in a vet clinic during high school and have dog sat for many friends and colleagues for years. I love pets, but move too frequently for the responsibility and commitment of having my own animal. Thus I live vicariously! I delight my friends with how much I adore their pets, I was always the go to for checking in and asking for last minute walks, I figured if I do this regularly, might as well make it a job. I always need a reason to go check out parks and new hiking trails. Dog walking is the best excuse to get out and frolic with a furry friend. I've cut people's hair and can do basic animal grooming as well (nail clipping, only after in person demonstration by owner on pet). NOTE: Not house sitting at the moment since I am temporarily in Oregon while my mom is undergoing cancer treatments. I adore dogs, but just like kids, I love being part time with my own busy life style. I'm friendly, love animals, and thorough. With my many years of experience working for the state dept of public health, biotech companies, and laboratories I am very capable of following instructions and being meticulous with people's request and directions regarding their pets.
