When I was released from the hospital after a stroke, there were so many things to be done. Annie stepped in and helped me solve the problems of daily living so I could continue to live independently. She ran errands, helped get the house/car accessible for my wheelchair and walker, arranged and oversaw the contractors, got me to appointments, got my car serviced, took my dog, Bacardi, for his walks, and got him and my cats, Hairball, Charlie and Wheezer, to the vet and groomer, when needed. She is friendly, caring and very organized and helped me navigate the medical world to get the resources needed. Without her care, I would not have been able to keep my most beloved pets but her help has allowed me to keep them and take good care of them. She also has arranged for a Vet who will come and help with one of my cats, who's end of life is near. She's compassionate, knows when to help and when not to, is empathetic and an incredible help to me. Her sense of humor makes me look forward to our time together also.

I was blessed to meet Annie 10 years ago while we were both living in Belize. Her joy for helping with the newly formed Humane Society was infectious and her enthusiasm to go above and beyond in helping with surgery, transportation, caregiving, babysitting (ie puppysitting ;-)) and dogwalking was so welcome. I have a dog named Kala who I would only trust Annie to be her caregiver in my absence. She has a knack for getting to know her critter friends intimately and would treat any one of them as if they were her own. So as far as recommendations go she gets a 10 out of 1 to 10!
