I have 3 plus years of experience caring for dogs. I had a job working at a pet resort before I joined the military in 2004. I loved my work there. It was loud. It was sometimes messy, but I didn't matter. It was rewarding getting to know every dog there. The old ones, the puppies, the high maintenance ones, hyper ones, scared dogs, all of them! I always tried to find a way to ease the stress and anxiety of being away from their owner and home. I learned a lot during my time there. Someday I hope to rescue a dog or 2. Or maybe even foster. I had a golden retriever named Corona years ago and I miss the love and companionship she brought into my life.
