22 years old I almost tend to get along better with dogs than with people! I love them and they always seem to love me, too. I had a dog of my own since the age of 6 by the name of Theo and our bond was genuinely unbreakable. Unfortunately, he stayed with my dad when I moved out a few years ago and then passed away from old age about a year ago. I’ve been dealing with that loss to this day. I’ve had many different kinds of pets as well and I now own a dog by the name of Barney with my beloved boyfriend and this dog is genuinely like my adopted son. I also have a cat named Lucius. I love walking and enjoying nature and having a dog to accompany me in those moments is the ideal way to spend my day. I’ve dog sat for quite a few people through Rover as well as outside of it and for family members growing up. Now I am searching to branch out with my own pet care business. I’m a writer as well and even still it’s hard to find the words to articulate the emotions animals invoke in me. I’ll give it a shot anyway: Dogs, cats and animals in general have a way of bringing out the best in me to such an extent that, in my heart of hearts, I truly believe they hold the key to happiness.
