I am a stay at home mom with over 15 years of experience taking care of dogs, and 6 years of experience raising a little boy (my son). Haha I am home all the time so your dog will never feel lonely or uncared for. My house has a large fenced backyard for your dog to run and play. He/she will get plenty of pets and cuddles from my family as well as plenty of chances to potty. I usually take dogs out 4x a day unless it is a puppy, smaller breeds or otherwise advised because they just need extra attention and...potty breaks :). If your dog is more active, I love going to dog parks, beaches, hikes, and runs to burn some puppy energy. You will receive daily videos and photos of your dog during their stay with me. If your dog has special dietary needs, I would be more than happy to cook their meals as long as all ingredients are provided. Please let me know if there are any diet restrictions because I will definitely be providing yummy treats unless I am told otherwise. I also love cats but my husband's allergies do not love them. Since I cannot provide the same boarding services for a cat, I do offer drop in services. I will be more than happy to change their litter, top off their food, and refill their water. They will receive all my attention during my visit with grooming and play time. I can provide time lapse videos of me cleaning the litter area, changing the litter, and our playtime. I will also send plenty of photos of your feline family member to give you peace of mind that they are happy and healthy :) If your cat has medical needs, I will be more than happy to administer it. Please provide instructions and I will do my very best :) I will love to spoil your pets rotten if you will give me the chance.

Annie and family are just the most amazing pet lovers. They took such good care of Mylo as if he was their own dog. Right from the first meeting, Annie made us feel extremely comfortable. We were super confident that Mylo would have a wonderful stay. To our pleasant delight, it turned out to be much more than what we expected. Annie was such an incredible sitter for our Mila. She followed instructions and asked great questions, she has experience with bigger dogs (and this out me at ease, and she was super open to having us all meet before confirming. It’s a huge relief to have someone like Annie when sending our doggos to a sitter. We can’t wait to book with Annie again!
After a horrible experience leaving out of town earlier this year,, our 13 year old pitbull ended up with a bad case of separation anxiety. Not to.mention two owner's with PTSD after the dogsitter blatantly lied to us about how they would treat our dog. We moved forward very cautiously interviewing several candidates, but none were a good fit for our dogs unique situation. That is until we found Annie... What can I say other than she is an absolute godsend. She and her family are some of the most lovely, kind , and humble people I've ever had the pleasure of crossing paths with. After our initial in person interview it was clear she was the right xhoice.. From the moment we left him with her she kept us up to date with regular photos and even some video! It really helped to reinforce that he was OK over there. She went out of her way to save some delicious beef bones for him, and was even so thoughtful as to get him a dog sweater when she thought he seemed cold! Talk about sweet! They pampered him like no other and made him feel a part of their family. It gave us so much peace of mind on our trip, allowing us to enjoy ourselves all the much more. She knocked it out of the park. I would not even consider anyone else for your dogsiting needs. She is an amazing caretaker. Thank you again Annie!
My dog Miller LOVED his stay with Annie, we can’t thank her and her family enough for loving him and treating him like their own! He had so much fun playing and going on walks and snuggling, and Annie was SO sweet sending pictures and videos the whole time we loved it! We’ll definitely be back, thank you!

It will help them adjust to being around different environments. I can read a dog's body signals and if they are ever uncomfortable, I will take them out of the triggering environment. I believe in positive motivation so I will always have treats with me to help train them. I live in a ranch style house (1 level). It has a large gated backyard. Perfect for dogs to roam around, sun bathe, and chase squirrels in the privacy of my yard.

Availability
Our days usually starts at 7am or 8am. Your dog will most likely be walked/pooped 4 times a day. Morning walk: 7am (15 min- 1hr) Mid-mornkng walk: 10am (15 min) Early afternoon walk: 1pm (15 min) Evening walk: 5pm or 6pm (30 min -2 hrs) Last potty break will be right before our bedtime so around 10pm. (5 mins) 1 hour walks are usually reserved for more active and/or younger dogs if they are not allowed to go to dog parks. For my senior king and queens, we will take it easy and only go 15 min. Max or as advised. Walks are also based on the temperature of the day. Santa Clarita can get over 100F and that is too hot for the dog's paws!
