I’ve always had dogs & cats at home growing up. Now I have a 3 year old child who wants pets really badly and as much as I want it as well, I’m a bit anxious about bringing another member to the family because it’s a big deal. But I miss dogs & cats so much. I’ve walked dogs since I was in elementary school which was one of my favorite activities to do. Dogs our family had growing up are yorkshire terrier (Mickey), cocker spaniel (Minnie), australian shepherd (Danny), pug (Napoleon), frenchie (Olga), and I had an orange tabby named Michael. I’m a stay home mom with a toddler going to a daycare but there will be some instances when our toddler will meet the pet. If your pet has extreme dislikes for children then I may not be the right candidate for you. My 3 year old just loves animals and he is very gentle with them. And the idea of meeting different dogs/cats will make him extremely happy. If this could be concerning, kindly indicate so that encounter with my toddler can be avoided. I will love your pet like my own!
