Pet care experience
I’ve had dogs in my life since I was 4 years old and have owned my own dog since 2020. I have most experience with small to medium dogs. Easy grooming like nail clippings, baths, and anal expressions are all things I am comfortable with as well as medication administration. I recently moved into my own house and have a fully fenced backyard for my dog and any other dogs who choose to come stay with us. The backyard is huge with trees and squirrels who call it home.

Annie took great care of my pups. She handled their anxiousness the first night being in a new place like a champ. They came home absolutely exhausted from all of the playtime.

I recommend boarding your dog with Annie. She is attentive to a dog's individual needs and regularly updates you with how your dog is doing in her home. Annie has a large fenced backyard that my dog Simon loved and a super friendly dog of her own. Simon had a great stay at Annie's and I would definitely board with her again!
Annie is the best!! She was so good and loving to our girl, Alex! Alex loves Annie and her dog, Mellie! I cannot recommend Annie enough! We will all miss Annie as we move to Colorado at the end of this week.

I care for pets in my home the same way I take care of my own pet. I make sure they are fed, cared for, and exercised according to their energy levels. I have several baby gates and am able to separate dogs for feeding and when I am away from the house.

I DO NOT BOARD ANY UNNEUTERED MALE DOGS IN MY HOUSE. I prefer to keep animals in their regular routine including potty breaks and medications. I know for my dog, maintaining a regular routine is very important so I will do the same. I also know that every dog has their quirks so knowing those beforehand is also really helpful.
A typical day
I love to take dogs for long walks, including hikes through the state parks like Ft Ben and Eagle Creek. To stimulate dogs during the workday, I love leaving toys and puzzles for them to enjoy and entertain throughout the day. I have loved bringing boarders with me on weekend excursions along the monon to Half Liter and other restaurants in Broad Ripple.

Availability
I am a teacher which means that during the daytime, my check-in options are limited but believe me when I get home I try to supply as much love and stimulation as possible. I am off for breaks occasionally throughout the year for boarding requests that require more care. I take them for walks, throw the ball around in the backyard, and all the snuggles.
