I had dogs as a kid and an adult. I compete in agility and obedience with my current dogs. I have worked at a vet clinic and volunteered at animal shelters and sanctuaries. I run, walk and hike frequently and know all the best places to take dogs in the Hilo and Puna areas and some other parts of the Big island. I could do some light training.

Annie is excellent with dogs. We have gone on several group hikes together with multiple dogs. She is patient, good humored and always aware of her surroundings. I'm continually impressed with her ease in handling various animals and their personalities with a smile. Annie's dogs receive a tremendous amount of exercise and care. They practice agility and obedience, plus they walk and hike regularly. They are happy, happy animals. You can rest assured, if you hire her as your sitter, that they will receive the same level of care.
I have been Annie's neighbor for almost five years and know that she takes excellent care of her own dogs..exercising, feeding and training them well. Recently, she has been handling my Rottweiler, Ipo, in an agility class. Even though my dog is not used to other people handling her, she gets along well with Annie and I love the way she handles Ipo with a caring attitude...and lots of treats. She has also been taking her on walks as a way of getting to know Ipo better. I would recommend Annie to anyone needing a dog caregiver for training or just for exercising.
Annie is complete awesomeness - do not hesitate to book her! She is kind, generous, friendly, responsible, and all three of our doggies love her! She not only is highly knowledgeable of dog breeds, she attends agility and obedience classes for our dogs as well as for her dogs. I work at a nonprofit called Full Life working with adults with disabilities and my schedule is somewhat variable but usually available evenings, Monday, Tuesday and Sunday. My job keeps me active and I run, hike and do strength training on a regular basis.
