I have grown up with family pets since I was a child and as I grew older, so did my love for dogs. My passion and patience for these little creatures is immense. I am especially a sucker for Labs! I have watched over friend's dogs plenty of times. Last year I was layed off my corporate job and decided to volunteer at an animal shelter in Tx instead of finding another job right away. Although the scenery and reality of things was sad, I felt so fulfilled and happy to be able to help those poor babies in need, even if that meant taking them out of their kennels for a quick walk or a nice belly rub. I learned to handle all dogs and read their body language enough to know if there was any potential danger. I have two female Labs myself, that I have raised and trained since they where young babies. With that being said I know how hard it is to board your dog(s) without feeling uneasy or without your pet feeling the anxiety of being surrounded by a lot of dogs at kennels. I myself use Rover for my pups and love the more intimate one on one attention they get. I have a fully fenced and secure backyard and my whole house is pet friendly. My two daughters (11 and 14) are great with dogs and they understand about respecting a dog’s personal space. My labs are sweethearts and playful as can be. They love meeting new buddies.
