COVID UPDATE I have received my COVID vaccine and continue safe practices. I have been practicing social distancing since 3/15/2020. I have a small footprint in any home I stay in. I am a tidy person that keeps a clean home. I will be disinfect the house the day that the homeowners return. I will clean all surfaces in all areas I have been in with “Force of Nature” disinfectant, an animal friendly EPA disinfectant, hours before the homeowners arrive. I will also launder all linens used, this provides a safer environment when they return and give them one less thing to tackle once home. I grew up with a St Bernard as part of our family. All the children in my family learned how to show dogs so we could handle the dog instead of him handling us. LOL I am a firm believer that calm interaction, frequent praise, exercise and lots of love is the best approach with dogs. I take my dog on daily walks to different locations so neither of us gets bored. I have a multi lead leash that I use when walking multiple dogs. I have a well behaved and well trained 12 year old Cocker Spaniel, Buster. Buster is good with people, children, cats and other dogs. Buster is current with all vaccinations. I am a pet person and enjoy all kinds of animals. I have cared for dogs, cats, birds, chickens, horses and snakes. I believe leaving your 4 legged family member in his/her home is better than boarding. I will care for your pet as you do. I will adhere to your preferences in routine, behavior, food and exercise. Annette was awesome, the best recommendation we could give anyone. She is low-keyed, personable, professional, knowledgeable, and caring, amongst many other traits. She was great with our older dog and cat, loving them like her own. She took well care of the house. We could not have had a better pet sitter.
Annette is the person you always hoped you'd find to care for your beloved pets. She is simply: amazing. Annette cared for our two Labradors--one an 12 year old senior with some special needs, and our younger, much more active 6 year old Labrador. It was obvious how well she cared for them by the questions she asked about their behavior and habits while we were gone. And, the videos and images she sent portrayed our pets as perfectly content and well-cared for. She was attentive during our meet and greet, and on the morning of our departure. She sent us daily updates, pictures/videos and was reliably available if we had questions for her. She also cared for our home and left it impeccably clean and tidy--including a lovely casserole dinner in the fridge for us after a long and arduous return home. Additionally, she handled a leaking roof in our garage with steady, calm and thoughtful determination. Many would have been flustered by the situation, but not Annette. After our return, it was obvious how well-cared for our two Labradors had been, as they were looking for her for several days after our return. We will ABSOLUTELY use Annette again in the future, and highly recommend her capable, caring and absolutely top-notch professional services. Thank you, Annette--we are grateful for your care in our absence.

I spend a lot of time with your pet. Day one is busy so I can get to know your pet and they can get to know me. By the end of the day we are tired and ready for a good nights sleep. Day 2 and going forward we will stick to routine so there are no problems with separation anxiety.

A typical day
A long walk or fetch at home, whatever your dog is capable of doing. Exercise and stimulation are good for a dogs physical and mental health. Quiet time and cuddling are also provided. ❤️

I do not work which allows me to spend most or all day with your pet. If I have errands I would not be away more than a few hours.
