Pet care experience
I've worked in the care and training of dogs since the age of just 5 years old. I've worked in the fields of dog training for 10 years and dog grooming for 5 years. My specialties include house training, crate training and basic obedience. I also care for high-maintenance dogs, such as dogs needing regular coat maintenance or medication regimens. I am working in dog boarding full time, and can be extremely flexible. My home is layed out specifically for the comfort and accessibility of the dogs in my care. I have a large, fenced-in yard that I use for play time and leash walks around the property 5-6 times per day. My own two dogs (a Chesapeake bay retriever and Jack Russell terrier) are extremely friendly and playful with the boarders that stay with us. I regularly take boarders on outings to the dog park and fairfield hills campus 10 minutes from my home.

Annemarie was wonderful! This was our first time using Rover and our dog did not adjust as well as we had expected but Annemarie was gracious and understanding and did everything she could to make sure he was comfortable.
Annemarie seems to have taken good care of Bailey during her stay in her house. She sent us pictures/video of her, if not daily, at least frequently (for a stay of 9 days). She took her for a walk with the other dogs. She was also quick to reply to our texts/email.
Annemarie made my pup, Beau's first boarding experience a breeze. She was very accommodating and communicative, providing me peace of mind with updates. Beau was well cared for and even made some new friends. I will definitely be bringing him back!
We recently had Annemarie board our dog, Maggie, for a week and she was WONDERFUL. Very quick with communication, she kept us updated on how Maggie was doing, sent us photos and videos and was so accommodating. We will definitely ask her to take care of Maggie again in the future! I highly recommend her!

A typical day
Your dog will enjoy 15-30 minute walks several times per day as well as intimate play time with my own dogs indoors. If permitted by the dog parent, the dog has full access to lay on all furniture.

Availability
I board full time and can be very flexible in terms of scheduling and drop off and pick up. My preference is to pick your dog up from your home rather than have them dropped off here, as it avoids any potential sense of abandonment for your dog. But i always defer to owner preference.
