ABOUT ME I have been a professional pet sitter since October 2017. I received my B.S. in Animal Science from Virginia Tech (Go Hokies!) in 1999 and have worked in the animal care industry ever since. I worked in veterinary medicine as a technician (large & small animals), managed an equestrian farm, and taught riding lessons. I built and maintained a full-time pet-sitting business with a team of pet sitters in North Carolina from 2017 - 2022. In 2021, I was certified as a Fear Free Pet Sitter through www.fearfreepets{dot}com. My husband and I relocated our family to Colorado in July 2022 where I am now restarting a new pet-sitting business. Currently, I work from home remotely, which offers a flexible schedule for pet sitting. I am comfortable with all pet personalities from shy and timid cats to lovable, goofy labs to the quiet seniors who just want to relax in a warm lap. Pets I care for include (but are not limited to): dogs, cats, reptiles, birds, pocket pets (hamsters, gerbils, etc), fish, goats, sheep, chickens, horses, cows, pigs, ducks, rabbits, and guinea pigs. I am experienced in administering topical, ophthalmic, oral, injectable, and subcutaneous medications for most pets. I gained my Pet CPR/First Aid certification through PetTech and can change wound dressings, apply topical medications, and any other special or emergent circumstances your pet may need. In our house, pets are considered part of our family and I treat all of my clients as though they were our own. I will spoil your pet and give them lots of special attention. You can count on me to be there whenever you need me and to handle any surprises that may come up. I am experienced, caring, dependable, and trustworthy. I promise to give your babies all the attention and snuggles they deserve. I am free to care for your pets as my full-time career. I am available for pet sitting 7am - 9pm Sun - Sat as fits your needs. We will work together to find the schedule that works for your pet.
