We’ve had our own dog for 11 years and have volunteered at an animal shelter in the past. My husband and I are retired and one or both of us are at home all day. We love dogs and have decided to join Rover after experiencing it thru our 23 year old son, who lives with us and works for Rover. We loved all the dogs that have come to stay with us. We live near a park and my husband or I (or both of us) can easily walk your dog twice a day. Our backyard is fenced, though we do have a pool. All of our downstairs furniture is slipcovered. You can leave your dog with us knowing we will treat him like our own! We are both retired, and make a point of always having at least one of us home all the time. The dogs are never alone. The dogs are part of the family. We have a fenced yard on a cul de sac. We do have a swimming pool, but never let dogs alone out in the yard, in case they can’t swim.
