I'm a dog walker and caretaker due to my love of animals and being active outdoors. Growing up with a Wheaten Terrier, I learned how to care for a dog, as well as appreciate the joys of living with an animal and a life-long companion. Today I use the skills and responsible mindset I gained as a child and teenager to dog-sit for my three brothers' dogs. I've also worked as a dog walker during the summer months for people in my neighborhood. Additionally, as a teacher of children and adolescents I have learned to handle unpredictable situations with patience and strong problem-solving skills, qualities that I will apply to being a dog walker and caretaker. Also, my love of the outdoors and being active, including running, hiking and rock climbing definitely qualify me for the physical demands of taking care of your dog and giving him or her as much exercise as necessary. I understand that your dog is an important part of your life, and you can count on me to be professional and reliable.
