I'm a responsible senior citizen that loves animals and have time on my hands. For over 40 years a dog or a cat has owned me, sometimes both! For the last 3 years, I have taken in dogs for boarding, done house sitting, or walked them. I can provide excellent references. I do have a cat in my home named Callie. Callie has not met a stranger she doesn't like or a dog she can't get along with. Sometimes she's curious, most of the time she ignores them.
