I have been dog sitting on & off for several years with old, young, energetic, and impotent furry friends. My background in teaching gives me a unique set of skills including a ton of patience, quick thinking, able to handle different kinds of personalities & behaviors as well as energy, love for creatures crazy & "normal". I am a hard worker committed to keeping beings safe, healthy, & happy. Lastly, I am willing to learn new things always!

We have a complicated pet care situation, with 4 dogs (including one puppy still in the destruction stage and one who sometimes elects not to eat anything), and 2 old cats, one of whom is diabetic and needs insulin shots twice a day. This was Anne’s first time with our animals, and she went out of the way to make things work smoothly and keep them happy. She even hand-fed our picky one, when she didn’t want to eat. She also left the house much cleaner than we left it for her. All the animals were clean and happy when we got home. She sent us frequent updates and photos, which relieved our concerns. She is simply outstanding and we can recommend her without qualification.
Anne was really sweet with our Jem and Jem, who can be a little timid, took to Anne instantly. Plus she helped us out at the last minute after another sitter cancelled on us. If we were not moving out of state we would definitely use Anne again! We are confident in saying that any dog would be in the best of hands with Anne!
I've know Anne for almost 10 years. She's a dear friend who gets things done. Pragmatic, a good listener, and attentive; all skills Anne equips as a sculptor and childrens' arts teacher. Level headed, Anne is the trustworthy and ideal guardian for your beloved fur babies.
Anne has been a dog sitter for our golden retrievers on numerous times over the past 15 years. she has stayed in our home for extended times as well. Her background and experience in early childhood education is an extra plus dealing with our furry "kids." We live in the desert, so she has had to deal with monsoon thunder storm anxiety and cactus in the nose/paws issues -- with patience, good humor, and compassion. Anne's dogsitting experience and her great sense of humor and cheery personality make her fun to be around for people and pets! Bisbee, our current golden, rates her with the top 5-star award and we recommend her highly.
