Pet care experience
**PLEASE CLICK "READ MORE" to view my full scope of experience including: Schedule, Safety, Trust and Environment** Hello! Thanks for visiting my page. I took a break from Rover and dog sitting since 2019 (you'll see why a few sentences down...*cough adopted 3 pit bulls cough*), but I'm back! With over 20 years of experience caring for dogs, I would be pleased to care for yours too! As a dog owner to a Jack Russell Terrier, Pomeranian Mix, Boston Terrier Mix, and now to 3 pit bull rescues, I'd like to say that it's evident with my appreciation for dogs (and yes, you read that right...I currently have 3 adopted pit bulls!). Although having a dog for most of my life, I still very much get overwhelmed about leaving them alone at the house if I need to go out of town, travel for work, get summoned for jury duty...etc. Knowing 2 of them suffer from separation anxiety, it's STRESSFUL! So, I totally get if you're the same way, or if this is your first time seeking a dog sitter, please know that you can count on me look after your furry loved ones! Since 2018, I fostered dogs and volunteered at animal shelters such as Front Street and Bradshaw. Specifically, I'd spend time with larger dogs who experience high levels of depression and anxiety due to sickness, kennel stress, abandonment and abuse. I've also volunteered at local dog rescues for a brief time.
Reviews
Our Family has been fortunate enough to be able to Book with Anne numerous times. She is seriously the “Best in the Business!” She is always our families #1 go to Sitter. We’ve tried others (only because Anne wasn’t available) but none compare to the love and care that Anne showers our fur-baby with. Anne provides so many fun activities and plenty of updates throughout the stay so you never have to worry or wonder how your Pup is Doing. She is very in tune with how they feel and has they’re best interests at heart. Anne makes them feel welcome and right at home. It’s like a vacation for them as well and not just being at a “sitter”. She is part of the family. We could go on and on but you’ll just have to experience it yourself:)
This was our first experience with Rover. Anne came in twice a day for 6 days. She treated our 3 dogs as though they were own. She sent us dog selfies and updates twice daily. She takes THE best pics! We had total peace of mind. She even brought in our mail daily and cleaned up after the dogs. Went totally above and beyond. If you need someone for check-in on your dog(s), Anne is your gal!!
Anne has got to be the biggest animal lover I know! When she's not running around with her rescue pup, Shia, you can find her volunteering for Front Street for Doggie Day Out! If you're looking for someone to show your pet a good time, and love them just as much as you do, she's your girl! 10/10 would recommend.
Anne is a fantastic caregiver for dogs. She treats all pets as if they were her own, and gives them the care and attention needed for each and every dog she has cared for. She grew up taking care of dogs all her life, and has a true knack for understanding them and treating them like family!

Unfortunately, I do not provide boarding or day care at my home, nor do I provide house sitting services at your home. The services I provide are drop-in visits and walks. NOTE: I will NOT bring my dogs with me on house visits or dog walks with your pets. For drop-in visits, my priority is making sure that your pets feel comfortable, safe, and happy (I'd love to hear all the details on what your dog likes, doesn't like, etc...even if it's something as small as them preferring a toy over another, or wants to eat before going potty).
Information Anne D. would like to know about your pet
Please let me know of any allergies, food restrictions, medications, and personality/behaviors in advance. Also, any veterinary care/instructions would be extremely helpful/important if they take medication, physical therapy requirements, topical ointments, etc. Of course, we can discuss these items to see if I'm a great fit for your dog during a meet and greet, prior to any official booking (meet and greets are complimentary and highly recommended!) I want to make sure everyone is happy and that there are no surprises, stress, or worries for anyone! :)
A typical day
I'd always like to get permission or guidelines from the owner for the expectations, especially since all dogs have different personalities and needs. I never want to create a stressful environment for them. However, lots of attention and care is always given! If you're booking a walk, please give me any tips or desired spots your dog enjoys going to! Dog loves to play fetch? You got it. Dog enjoys watching Animal Planet on the couch with his favorite blanket? Dog wants to literally be left alone and only use me to open the door for a potty break? Done.

Availability
I currently have a full time job aside from Rover, but I do my best to be flexible for bookings. My availability will be reflected on my schedule here on Rover, but feel free to message me with any inquiries! I may be able to plan accordingly outside of my calendar.
