I'm the owner of a small pet care company, Leashes Pet Care, based in Pittsburgh with another branch in South Florida. I’ve always had and loved dogs, and have always enjoyed dog walking & pet sitting for friends and neighbors. Volunteering at a number of animal shelters in Austin, Texas and in South Florida inspired me to pursue this dream of mine full time here. Now you can find me any day of the week walking dogs, pet sitting or fostering dogs. I'm also certified in Pet First Aid. Why I love dog sitting I've always loved dogs, and always had dogs, since I was 8 years old. I grew up doing pet & house sitting around my neighborhood, and now have made it my full-time profession. My love for dogs grew even deeper while volunteering at Austin Pets Alive in Texas, where I was lucky enough to be a part of hundreds of dogs finding their forever homes. My experience administering medication I am comfortable administering medication, and would just ask that the owner be honest about the dog's behavior while receiving medication (likes it, hates it, is reactive, etc).
