Hi, I'm Annie. I love dogs of all shapes, sizes, and personalities. I have a extensive experience caring for dogs. I grew up caring for three golden retrievers and one black lab, and developed plenty of experience caring for bigger dogs with lots of energy. Since then, I have ample experience dog sitting small, medium, and big dogs. I have experience with short stays and long stays, from day care to dog and house sitting for ten months. One of my pet care philosophies is to keep animals active and social. A tired pup is a happy pup! I can't wait to meet your pets too 😊 I am currently a fellow at the Smithsonian for the summer (July-September) conducting research in their archives. I have a lot of research flexibility and can work around clients’ (and dogs’) preference schedules. I have a three year old medium size mixed breed family member, Lavinia, who loves to play and snuggle. I’m happy to have her meet your pets before their stay to ensure that everyone gets along well. I have ample experience caring for rescue dogs and am specializing in their care. Please reach out about your rescue, I am happy to care for them too!

I adjust care depending on client needs. I typically take two long walks each day—one in the morning and one in the afternoon. I have a large yard, and take dogs out every hour. I also have experience caring for older dogs that might need more snuggles and love than walks—let me know what care your dog needs, and I will adjust!

A typical day
I love walking in Eugene with pups, especially to local trails, parks, paths, etc. I start each day with a long walk, take short potty walks every hour or two during the day, and go for a longer walk with lots of playtime in the evening. Before bed, I ensure everyone potties and is ready to rest for the night. We can also go on nearby hikes together with parent approval!

Availability
I work in person and remotely and have very flexible hours. On days when I dog sit, taking care of your pet is my first priority. I am also available for dog daycare as I can change my schedule to take off days or work part time as needed.
