Pet care experience
Hi! I'm Annah. I specialize in making sure my clients feel at ease about their pets while they’re away. I send lots of photos, updates about my arrival/departure, anything that seems out of character for your pets etc. My prior experience from working on the behavioral health team at the humane society in Boulder has helped me gain confidence with high energy dogs, fearful dogs, mouthy dogs and dog-reactive dogs. Today, I’m a photographer working from home unless I’m out on a shoot. So I’m at your home mostly 24/7 unless I’m out working, running errands, hiking or seeing friends. I take pride in my ability to be conversational, respectful and clean while staying in my clients’ homes. I’m very well organized and good at managing my time as well as good with being flexible for scheduling. your pet will be put as my priority! I love helping clients feel at ease about their pets and home when they’re away. Most of my clients are through word of mouth. So I’m happy to provide references for my current/previous clients to help ease your mind before you decide if you’d like to hire me.

This was our first trip in over a year, and our first trip since we got a second dog. When we had just the one dog, we traditionally had her stay with at someone elses house. With this trip, and the second dog, we decided to give an in house sitter a chance. We met with Annah a couple of weeks before we were going to leave and she answered all our questions. The dogs took to her right away but we were still a little nervous about the whole thing. Turns out, nothing to be worried about! Annah sent us updates while we were gone and totally put our mind at ease. Super happy that we found her and looking forward to another trip.
Both my 2 Frenchies & I are so sad that Annah moved out-of-state! She took excellent care of them while staying in my home when I traveled (a lot!). She is reliable, trustworthy, conscientious, & loving. I enjoyed receiving funny pictures that she took of the dogs during my absences. Both you and your dogs will be very happy.
Annah loves being around dogs and they enjoy being around her, too! She is fun and energetic and loves being playful and having fun with our dogs. She is very responsible and great at communication when she walks our dogs or watches out dogs for us over a long weekend while we are away. She is a great photographer and we have some great framed pictures of our pups that Annah has taken. She is a great choice for an afternoon of playing with your dog or a great dogsitter/housesitter to hire when you go away on your next vacation!

I let dogs out every few hours when I’m there, never leave them alone for longer than 8 hours and make sure to play when they want to. I also like snuggling up at the end of the day to watch a movie before bed!

Before I stay at a clients home, I like to be sure I have an emergency contact, vet’s number, medication information. Brief information about the animal’s usual routine is helpful so I can tell if something is wrong or if your pet is being itself and any known information about reactivity towards other dogs or people is helpful too.
A typical day
I like taking dogs for walks near Kendrick Lake, Boulder open space areas and any neighborhoods near you. I love giving dogs experiences that their sweet souls deserve, like car rides, playing in the park and getting as much attention as they need.
